June 10th, 2021 – Apurba's CEO gives a talk title “COVID-19 Big Data and AI – Utility in Pandemics and Public Health – Hope vs. Hype” at ASAIO 66th Annual Conference in Washington DC. This conference is organized by ASAIO on 10th - 12th June 2020 at Hilton DC Hotel, Washington DC.

The presentation shows a case study demonstrating that it was possible, with a high degree of accuracy, to predict the onset of influenza using the NLP-based population health analytics approach, and given that the concept produced positive results for one respiratory virus, it stands to reason that a similar approach ought to be practical for other similar illnesses, notably COVID-19.
